Dr. Chia-Hui Chang is a full Professor at National Central University, Taiwan, specializing in natural language understanding, Web intelligence, and the application of machine learning in law, finance, space, and education. Since 2024, she has served as the convenor of the Intelligent Computing Department at the National Science and Technology Council in Taiwan.

Dr. Chang has published over 140 papers in prestigious conferences and journals, including WWW, PAKDD, TKDE, and Intelligent Systems. She was recognized among Stanford's Top 2% Scientists (Career Impact) for the period from 1960 to 2024.

In addition to her research, Dr. Chang plays an active role in the academic community. She has held key organizational positions for major conferences, serving as Local Chair for AACL 2022 and ACML 2010, General Chair for ROCLING 2021 and TAAI 2020, and Area Co-chair for ACL 2017 and NAACL 2018. She has also been a program committee member for various international conferences, including ICDE, CIKM, PAKDD, AAAI, and ICTIR.
